  • Listings may be compiled from public sources and/or supplied by businesses. We do not warrant accuracy, availability, pricing, or qualifications. Always verify Gas Safe status and competence before hiring.

4) No Emergency or Safety-Critical Use

Do not rely on the Site for emergencies. For urgent incidents (e.g., major leaks, suspected gas issues), call emergency services and a qualified, Gas Safe registered engineer where applicable.

5) Your Use of the Site

  • Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Do not scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent technical protections.
  • Do not post or transmit content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes rights of others.
  • Do not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a business.

6) Accounts; Submissions; Reviews

  • If you create an account or submit content (e.g., edits, reviews), you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.
  • You grant PlumbDash a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute submitted content in connection with operating the Site.
  • We may moderate, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. We do not endorse user reviews.

7) Business Listings & Claims

  • Businesses may request to claim or edit their listing. We may require verification (e.g., proof of trading, Gas Safe registration for gas work).
  • We may add, edit, reorder, label as “Sponsored”, or remove listings at our discretion.

8) Sponsored & Advertising Content

  • We may display advertisements or sponsored listings, clearly labelled as such.
  • Sponsorship does not imply endorsement. Our editorial decisions are independent.

9) Intellectual Property

  • The Site, including text, logos, graphics, and data compilations, is owned by or licensed to PlumbDash and protected by law.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content except for personal, non-commercial use or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

15) Changes to the Site & Terms

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The latest version will be posted here with the “Last updated” date.

16) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers residing elsewhere in the UK may bring claims in their local courts under mandatory local consumer law.
